Etna Tonic is an interesting and original interpretation of Gin Tonic, one of the most popular and widespread cocktails in the world. It is a volcanic version, created in honor of the Mongibello, with two typical products of the area, which express its most authentic and true face. Etna Gin Amacardo is born at the foot of the volcano and is produced with local botanicals. On the traditional balsamic background of juniper, the fresh and fragrant notes of citrus stand out, along with the slightly bitter hints of wild cardoon or artichoke from Etna, aromatic herbs, and spices. The delicate and smooth sip of Etna Gin Amacardo finds the ideal partner to complete the volcanic cocktail in the Tonic Water "Etna Tonic", the label of the Amacardo brand, which reinterprets in a Mediterranean key the famous sparkling drink invented towards the end of the '700 by Johann Jakob Schweppe. The Amarcando Tonic, in addition to the classic bitter notes of quinine, balanced by sugar, brings to the forefront a pleasant profile of bitter orange, which makes the sip.particularly fresh, slightly aromatic, and bitter. Etna Tonic enhances its scents and aromas when served in a classic Balloon glass.

Etna Tonic is a young cocktail, born from two labels of an artisanal reality created to enhance the typical products of the Sicilian volcano area. It is an innovative version of one of the great classics of mixology. The Gin Tonic was born in India during the period of British colonial rule. British army soldiers had to take quinine every day against malaria. To make the taste of the medicine less bitter, they began to take it with Gin and water. Thus, the progenitor of the modern Gin Tonic came to light, which would find its consecration when at the beginning of the 1800s, Johann Jacob Schweppe would commercialize Tonic Water. Fresh and dry, it is still a very appreciated cocktail today and was particularly loved in the past by Hollywood star Clark Gable.

in a balloon glass with some ice cubes, pour in the Etna Gin Amarcado, the Tonic Water “Etna Tonic” Amarcardo, stir, and garnish the glass with a slice of lime. Like all Gin Tonics, it is a refreshing and very thirst-quenching cocktail, great to enjoy not only at aperitif time but also during an after dinner with friends.
