The Champagne Extra Brut by Remy Massin is a Vintage with a rich and intense character and a pleasant gourmand nature. It is a classic cuvée that perfectly reflects the terroir and the best traditions of the Côte des Bar. It is a blend of Pinot Noir, which contributes to providing structure, freshness, and depth of flavor, and Chardonnay, which offers elegant floral and fruity notes. The careful selection of grapes and a long aging on the lees create a bottle with rich and complex, evolved and persistent aromas, always supported by a clear mineral freshness.

The Extra Brut Vintage is one of the most famous Champagnes from this Recoltant Manipulant Maison. The domaine Remy Massin is located near Ville-sur-Arce, in the southernmost area of Champagne, and spans about twenty hectares, with beautiful vineyards wonderfully exposed to the south and southwest. The vines root in calcareous-clay soils, which give the wines a particular intensity and structure. At the end of the harvest operations, the grapes of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are vinified separately. After a soft pressing, fermentation proceeds for the creation of the vins clairs. After a few months, the final blend is created, and the second fermentation takes place in the bottle according to the Champenoise Method, with a sur lattes aging of at least 36 months.
