It was 1975 when Laura Aschero decided to recover the old family vineyards to find employment for her husband, a doctor nearing retirement, initially with the idea of selling the grapes to local producers. However, after a few years, the couple decided to make their own wine, relying on the advice of Gianpaolo Ramò, still the estate's winemaker today. We have since reached the third generation, represented by Bianca, Laura's granddaughter and daughter of owner Marco Rizzo.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"\u003eLaura Aschero's Vermentino is a 100% Vermentino from vines grown on hillsides that enjoy the influence of \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cspan data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"\u003esea breezes\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"\u003e and strong temperature swings between day and night in the summertime, ideal conditions for harvesting healthy grapes endowed with great aromatic assets. In the winery, traditional white vinification is carried out, limiting the contact between the must and marc to a few hours.
