The winery is also a member of the \u003ci\u003eVignerons Indépendants\u003c\/i\u003e association, founded in 1978 with the aim of promoting the work of small independent winegrowers, such as Chateau Le Barry. The organisation's production cornerstones include respect for terroir and local traditions, independent and exclusive cultivation of their own vineyards and independent wine production.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eChateau Le Barry Saint-Émilion consists of a blend of the traditional Bordeaux grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, \u003cstrong\u003ecultivated\u003c\/strong\u003e in \u003cstrong\u003eaccordance with organic farming regulations\u003c\/strong\u003e on soils characterised by a high presence of clay and limestone. The microclimate is then influenced by the nearby presence of the Dordogne river and the Atlantic Ocean, with its cold currents. Once harvested, the grapes are carefully selected by hand and then vinified in red with alcoholic fermentation in contact with the skins in thermoregulated stainless steel tanks. Once the fermentation process is complete, the wine is left to mature for several months in stainless steel and in French oak barrels, both new and from several passages.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe Saint-Émilion signed Chateau Le Barry has an intense garnet red colour. Aromas of ripe red fruits, gingerbread and sweet spices such as vanilla characterise the olfactory texture together with balsamic hints. The taste is \u003cstrong\u003esoft and elegant\u003c\/strong\u003e, well balanced in its components, with integrated tannins supporting the overall structure.
