Vinification takes place naturally and spontaneously, without the addition of yeasts or other additives. After a maceration of about two weeks in cement tanks, as tradition dictates, the wine is transferred for ageing to Slavonian oak barrels of different capacities: 30, 40 and 60 hectoliters. A further bottle ageing of at least 6 months completes the production process and ensures Rosso di Montalcino reaches its full expression.\u003cbr\u003eRosso di Montalcino Caprile stands out in the Montalcino scene for its fruity personality and its fresh, ferruginous vein, which is very pleasant and flowing. The sip is elegant, harmonious and well-balanced, with taut, structured tannins and citrusy, quinine aromatic trails.
