It is a blend of the native Nero d'Avola and Perricone grape varieties from the San Lucio vineyard, the first large parcel of about 7 hectares identified by the estate.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"\u003eTenuta Regaleali - Tasca d'Almerita Rosso del Conte is derived from a blend of Nero d'Avola (58%) and Perricone (42%), varieties bush-trained at about 480 meters above sea level on yellowish-brown, partly calcareous sandy-loam soil with a slight presence of skeleton. Many of the vines were planted in 1959, and the remainder in 1965. In the cellar, alcoholic fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks, with 20 days of contact between must and skins and complete malolactic fermentation. Aging of 18 months, on the other hand, takes place in \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cspan data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"\u003efrench oak barriques of Allier and Tronçais new\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"\u003e preceding bottling and further resting in a glass before release.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"\u003eTenuta Regaleali's Rosso del Conte - Tasca d'Almerita is bright ruby red in color.
