The vines grow using the spurred cordon system in vineyards located about 90 meters above sea level, in soils that feature a subsoil rich in skeleton and clay. The grapes, once harvested and taken to the areas designated for winemaking at Rocca di Frassinello, ferment for 20 days in steel containers at controlled temperature, and then matures first for \u003cstrong\u003e6 months in barrique\u003c\/strong\u003e and then, after bottling, for another 6 months directly in glass.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe red wine Ornello presents itself to the eye with an intense and deep color, reminiscent of ruby tones.
