The mild climate and the soft sandy soils of Valmaggiore,constitute a perfect habitat for Nebbiolo, which in this land expresses itself with \u003cstrong\u003earistocratic finesse\u003c\/strong\u003e. While the Nebbiolo from Langhe represents the most austere and powerful face, that of Roero seduces with its subtle refinement, delicate aromas, and a more immediate drinkability even in youth.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe red Nebbiolo d'Alba \"Valmaggiore\", produced by Luciano Sandrone, is one of the most interesting versions of the great Piedmontese red made in the lands of Roero. Fermentation takes place spontaneously with indigenous yeasts, in open steel tanks. The wine matures for a period of \u003cstrong\u003e9 months in tonneau\u003c\/strong\u003e of French oak and completes its aging with 9 months in bottle. The color is a rather intense garnet red. On the nose, it opens with floral scents, aromas of small red berry fruits, hints of licorice root, and delicate spices.  On the palate, it is medium-bodied, with a smooth sip, complex, persistent aromas, and a fine tannic texture.
