The choice of Etna, and more precisely of Solicchiata, a small district located on the northern slope, is dictated by what Frank believes to be a special place for climatic conditions and biodiversity\u003cstrong\u003e.\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe red wine Magma is the flagship wine of Frank Cornelissen, and it is produced from a single vineyard called \"Barbalecchi\", located at 910 meters altitude. The perfect exposure to the north and northeast allows the plants to capture the first rays of sunlight in the morning. The \u003cstrong\u003evineyard is more than a century old\u003c\/strong\u003e, was planted in 1910, and is capable of producing few concentrated fruits of extreme quality. After harvesting and a light pressing, the liquid ferments in contact with its own skins for about 2 months and follows maturation in fiberglass tanks.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Magma appears in the glass with a light red color, typical of Nerello Mascalese.
