In particular, the Greco vines are over sixty years old and are planted using the ancient alberello system in the highest part of the estate, at over 600 metres above sea level, on calcareous clay soils with sandstone. The grapes are harvested by hand and undergo spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts and a short maceration on the skins for a few days.
