A blend of Malvasia Puntinata and Bombino Bianco, varieties that grow in organic vineyards, with which the De Sanctis winery confirms its ability to highlight the typical grape varieties of the Frascati area. A label to appreciate also for its interesting quality-price ratio.

This Frascati Superiore “Abelos” is born from the union of Malvasia Puntinata, present in the final blend with a percentage of 80%, and Bombino Bianco. These are two varieties that grow on vines aged between 35 and 50 years, which root in a volcanic terroir, at an altitude of 200-250 meters above sea level. The vineyards, exposed to the southeast, are managed with organic practices. The grapes, once they arrive at the premises dedicated to the winemaking of the De Sanctis winery, undergo a brief cryomaceration for a few hours, then fermenting in steel for 15-20 days. Also in steel, the aging period takes place, lasting 6 months. During the bottling operations, a minimal addition of sulfites is made.

The “Abelos” Frascati Superiore develops in the glass with a light straw yellow color, with some golden reflections. The aromas that envelop the nose are mainly fruity and floral, alternating with more balsamic notes and hints of aromatic herbs. On the palate, it is light-bodied, smooth, enveloping, with a sip characterized by pleasant freshness and a nice sapidity. A label with which the De Sanctis winery confirms its production path oriented towards organic, giving us a balanced and harmonious drink.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0668/1860/5335/files/frascati-superiore-abelos-de-sanctis-2023_60098_b47cd3fe-5a1d-4c43-b191-0f68c2e59322.jpg?v=1787281580
