Today, of the total 18 hectares, 8 are devoted to Sangiovese Grosso vineyards, all created with mass selections of vines from the famous Il Greppo estate. Le Chiuse is located on the northern, northeastern slope of the Montalcino hillside at an altitude between 330 and 500 meters above sea level. It presents a bright garnet colour. The nose recalls fragrant aromas of cherry, small red berries, hints of wild herbs and delicately spiced nuances.
