The Abbona family knows their parcels deeply and treats the grapes destined for the vinification of the best wines with great care.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Barolo Abbona comes to life from spontaneous alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks, through indigenous yeasts, in contact with the skins for about 30 days, during which continuous pump-overs are carried out. The aging process involves \u003cstrong\u003e30 months in barrels\u003c\/strong\u003e of 25 hectoliters plus 6 months of resting in the bottle. To the eye, the Barolo Marziano Abbona is ruby red, graced with garnet reflections. On the nose, floral notes of dog rose and wisteria are perceived, fading into sensations of violet, at times balsamic, with a finish of wet earth and tobacco. On the palate, the wine is clear, one could not ask for better, savory, complex, and with a refreshing finish wrapped in balanced tannins.
